Tom Edwards of Windwhistle Studio has over 13yrs of experience in one of the UK’s leading
independent television production companies, from the start and working his way up, showing great talent in audio and post production.

Tom began his time with Denham Productions as a dubbing mixer, involved in mixing audio for hundreds of TV programs produced by Denhams and other high profile production companies. working with such great names of the screen as Rick Stein, Dawn French, Emelia Fox and John Torode to name a few. His audio skills have been broadcast across BBC, Netflix, Discovery, ITV, Channel 4, Five and Fox.

Tom was also involved with the company’s digital content output. Working on the audio production for video, radio advertising and podcasts working for several corporate giants including Tesco, AXA, Lotus, Ella’s Kitchen, Bottle Green, ASDA and many more.

Throughout his time, Tom rose to the rank of Head of Post Production where he oversaw every project that came through the his department. Ensuring that only the highest possible care and attention was given to every single file and delivered on time and to specification.

In 2020, Denhams made the decision to close its production arm. This gave Tom the perfect
opportunity to take on some of their amazing facilities and create Windwhistle Studio. This name embodied a happy childhood of memories playing in the nearby Windwhistle Woods, Plymouth.

Now, Windwhistle Studio leads the way in Devon, specialising in audio services including recording, editing, mixing for broadcast television, film and video content, voice overs, podcasts, audiobooks, music and multimedia. Offering post production services along with consultation and training, Windwhistle believes in the personal touch, that every client and business is unique and so it should be for their experience in working with us. Nurturing talent with a creative and relaxed space whilst also pulling inspiration from the beauty of the South West and its stunning scenery.
